Barreiras do acesso à saúde e vulnerabilidade da população trans: uma revisão integrativa de literatura

Resumen

Introdução: Apesar dos avanços recentes, a população trans ainda enfrenta desafios ao pleno direito à saúde. Objetivo: Analisar as barreiras para o acesso da população trans aos serviços de saúde presentes na literatura. Método: Revisão integrativa, nas bases SciELO, PubMed e EMBASE, de artigos empíricos, publicados entre 1998 e 2022, em português, inglês e espanhol, realizados em países selecionados, com participantes de 18 a 65 anos. Resultados: 57 artigos selecionados e seis categorias de barreiras identificadas: ausência de políticas inclusivas; inadequação das redes de serviços; funcionamento dos serviços de saúde incompatível com as necessidades da população trans; falta de capacitação dos profissionais de saúde; transfobia nos serviços de saúde; e falta de informação e estigma no cuidado em saúde. Conclusões: Pessoas trans estão sujeitas à vulnerabilidade individual, social e programática. O predomínio de barreiras institucionais indica a necessidade de ações governamentais que garantam o direito à saúde dessa população.
